Nestling in its own grounds at the heart of the village, Ticknall Village Hall is a popular meeting place for local groups and societies within the village community.
The building, or parts of it, can be booked for private events. It is a popular venue for celebration lunches, parties and wedding receptions, all benefitting from the newly refitted kitchen which lends itself to self or outside catering.
The main hall is a light airy room with a stage and a lively acoustic. There are french doors that open onto the surrounding spacious grounds with lawns and trees. A smaller meeting room is also available for meetings of smaller groups.
The newly re-fitted kitchen provides clean and efficient catering. There is a generous main entrance hall with access to toilet facilities. We also have ample free parking within the grounds.
The Hall is licensed to accommodate up to 120 persons, and the large stage allows for concerts, shows or public meetings. Those booking the venue can apply to the local authority for a ‘temporary event notice’ to allow for the sale of alcohol. We would be pleased to help with advice regarding catering arrangements.
